About Me |
I live in West
Bloomfield, Michigan a northern suburb of
Detroit...the home of Rock and Roll. Currently
the weather in my little corner of the world is:
My
Mission:
To create a web presence that allows me to
communicate with family and friends the life events
of me and my loved ones with pictures and video.
Oh yeah...and to create a portal to trade bootleg
audio CD's and video DVD's.
Personal
Profile:
I was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1963. I
grew up in Birmingham, Michigan where I graduated
from
Seaholm High School in 1981. I had four
party-filled years at
Michigan State University where I earned a BA in
Accounting in 1985.
I
toiled in public accounting for three years.
After coming to the realization that I had better
things to do than study for the CPA exam I took a
job as an accounting manager at a national equipment
leasing company (which no longer exists). At
about the same time I realized that poor, drunk and
stupid was no way to go through life so I enrolled
in the MBA program at
Wayne State University. In 1993 I
graduated with my MBA in Finance.
In
1991 I answered a
job
ad in the classified section of the Detroit News
with another equipment leasing company. I'm
now the Chief Financial Officer of Americorp
Financial. If you're looking to finance
medical equipment check out our
web site and
complete an online application.
I have a wonderful family. My wife is truly a
goddess. She really puts up with my crap.
Sporting events, concerts...no problem. I have
two boys that keep me really busy. As the old
saying goes...the fruit doesn't fall too far from the
tree. I have a dog too...Dillinger. He's a
Black Labrador Retriever.
I still play softball competitively. My goal
is to retire when I'm 50. To get the boys
interested I also started managing little league.
I think it's working. My friends complain
because I don't play enough golf. I figure I
can golf when I'm 50 but I probably won't be able to
play softball (at least not competitively) when I'm
50 so I've temporarily put the golf on hold.
By the size of my trophy room I'd say I made the
right decision.
Obviously, I really dig music. That was the
original concept behind this whole personal web site
thing. I needed a way to trade audio and video
and it just kind of grew from there.
